I absolutely LOVED the colours of this cake smash session. I haven't really explored much of the mints and greys but now I have a new found love for them! This little guy's mom has a great sense of colour and creativity. It took some time, but we came up with the perfect set to match the decor of his room. I'm no stranger to hot air balloon themes so it I was able to cut out a few balloon shapes with my trusty Cricut. I actually created my own template so I could get the perfect roundness to the balloon shape. All you need for these balloons are 2 identical shaped balloons, and a bit of glue and it's done! The clouds were reused from my previous airplane themed shoot so that was a bonus. It's great when I'm able to reuse props from old shoots and turn them into a brand new set. Overall, everyone was happy with how it all turned out and the little guy had a fantastic time with his cake.

This was a really fun yet challenging cake smash set to design. I had a few learning curves to overcome but in the end I did it! I couldn't quite figure out how to make the paper vines but after doing a lot of googling and trial & error I finally figured it out. I took some photos of the process so I will post it later

This was this little birthday boy's second visit to my studio. He came in for his first photo shoot at 2 months. If you ever remember seeing a baby Air Jordan photo somewhere this is him! How time really flies -- Im so honoured to have the privilege of doing his 1st year photos too!

He had the sweetest smile & expressions which made this photo shoot truly worth while. If anyone is interested in a Safari Jungle themed cake smash, then let me know! I saved all the props

This little guy was dressed up in the most charming little outfit! I love it when lil kids are dressed up like little men It's so cute! His first birthday party was just a few days away and I managed to get these pics to them just in time for the big party. They brought in this amazing birthday chalkboard which inspired me to start making my own. His mom was so great in giving me info on all the details! I am so grateful! I just love doing these cake smash sessions!
