Wow I can't believe it's been almost 2 years since I made my last blog post! Time really flies by when you're having fun

I have had an amazing past 2 years of photography and I will try my best to keep this site active and updated. Here is a glimpse of one of my first newborn babies of 2018. I'm really starting to love the sleeping baby in a blanket pose these days. It's just so cute and relaxing looking don't you think??

This baby's photo shoot was a sports themed one! I love it when parents incorporate their own ideas for the shoot. This lil guy's outfits were so adorable! I especially love that baby Air Jordan one! He looks so cool & relaxed Isn't he super cute??

A Modern, Clean, Yet Fuzzy Newborn Photo Shoot – North York, Toronto Photography

Here are two very sweet little sisters! Back in my early days of photography I was lucky to have been able to photograph big sis as a 6 month old baby. She was the cutest thing ever! Now she came back with her adorable baby newborn sister with their matching sock monkey crochet hats. Their loving auntie (aka my crochet/crafting buddy) beautifully created these hats for them. Mom wanted a clean photo shoot with black & white elements so I figured I would put my sewing skills to the test and make a ruffle diaper cover and matching bow headband. For a first try I think I did ok! This was actually an upcycled piece I got from a local thrift store that I converted. For $7 dollars I was able to put this together and have plenty for some more props. Upcycling is my new favourite activity! I've seen this itty bitty diaper covers go for around $30 so I think I did well for myself The cute sparkly crown was graciously loaned to me by Cutie Pieces. I love <3<3 newborn photography!

A Valentine’s 3 Month Mini Shoot – North York, Toronto, Photography

You will be seeing lots of this little baby on my blog. She comes in for monthly photo shoots and this one just happened to be around Valentine's day. Her creative mommy put together the cutest outfit for her. She made feathered wings and a cute beanie hat topped off with a red chocolate heart wand. She was so generous and let me keep everything! I'm so lucky to have such great clients!

When this little baby walked in my studio with her parents and grandma she had the cutest and biggest smile on her face. She was so cute and all smiles. At one point it did stop, but it was only brief! I'm so lucky to be able to capture these moments. Having a baby like her just makes it so much easier.

A Little Baby Warrior – North York, Toronto Photography

This 2 month little archer came and visited the studio with his parents. I made him a last minute bow and arrow prop from some twigs I found in my backyard and some crafting supplies. I really love it when I can get creative with my shoots and make all kinds of props! Based on a photo his parents sent to me we created an underwater scene of this little guy as an archer. Ive never used that fur rug of mine before until this shoot so I was rather excited about it! His parents were very lovely and the little guy was so cooperative. It made for a great shoot!

I recently took photos of this beautiful family of four. They came to me when the little one was just over 2 weeks old. Her big brother was so adorable with the cutest and most photogenic smile. There were so many sweet moments with him and his little sister. I don't think I can ever get tired of taking pics of such cute little kids.

I admit I'm guilty of not keeping my blog up to date! Since school began it's been a whirlwind of activities around here, but now that the kids are sound asleep on a Friday night I figured I'd take some time to upload this newborn session I did last month.

This little newborn baby girl was just over 2 weeks old when I saw her and she let me capture some really sweet moments. It's just so precious when I'm able to catch a smile from a newborn baby. These aren't easy to come by. I had to be very patient yet quick with the trigger!
Her parents were amazing to work with and super photogenic as well. Here are some of my favourite photos from this session!

This little sweetheart visited me in July with her adorable 2 year old big sis & family. I loved how gentle and caring the older sister was with her brand new sibling. It wasjust so cute seeing them together. This family was so amazing to work with - they had such great energy!

A few weeks ago I took photos of this darling newborn baby boy and his family. He was such a handsome little guy and the perfect little poser. I was also able to test out my sewing & crochet skills for newborn baby clothes and it actually turned out ok! Here are some photos from the session. That mommy & baby photo is just so precious!
